How to Choose the Right Pool Table

Buying a pool table can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what it is important for you as a buyer or have a limited knowledge of the differences in pool tables for sale. Size

Pool tables come in a variety of sizes to fit whichever space you need. From bar size to tournament size we have a pool table for sale to fit your needs. Measure your space and the area around the space you want to instal the pool table in and make sure you have enough room to walk around freely and play comfortably and safely. 

Regulation pool tables have a 2:1 ratio of length to width so as long as you focus on the length measure, you should be able to pinpoint your width of the table easily. A 7ft table will be 3.5ft wide, 8ft is 4ft wide, and a 9ft long table will be 4.5ft wide.

We carry 7ft, 8ft, and 9ft tables and many of the tables are available in all of those sizes. Make sure and check the product listing to see if the table is available in those dimensions. Ball Return/Gulley or Drop Pocket

Drop pocket pool tables are common in homes and rec centers but the more sophisticated style tables seen in bars, bowling alleys, arcades, and other commercial spots may have a ball return or gulley style table. Gulleys are underneath the table and allow the balls to roll down into the return area so you don't have to grab them from the pockets. If you're looking to mimic an arcade feel than a gulley style table is what you want. Gulley systems do add some cost to the table but make for a more fun playing experience.
